Shipping and Payment
1. Shipping Methods
Ordered photographic and fine art prints are delivered to the customer by shipping carriers or by other delivery methods shown during the checkout process.
The available shipping options, their cost and availability are displayed to the customer before the order is completed.
Depending on the size, value, delivery destination or nature of the product ordered, the seller may select or offer an appropriate shipping method to ensure that the goods are delivered safely and in suitable protective packaging.
2. Shipping Costs
The shipping cost is shown during the checkout process before the order is submitted.
Where free shipping is stated for a particular product or order, the customer will not be charged for the applicable delivery method.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, free shipping does not include any customs duties, import taxes, customs clearance fees, carrier charges or other costs associated with importing goods into a country outside the European Union.
3. Dispatch and Delivery Times
Photographic and fine art prints may be produced only after an order has been placed.
For fine art prints, limited editions, larger formats or custom-made prints, preparation of the order will generally begin once payment has been received.
The estimated dispatch time is stated on the product page or during the checkout process. Unless otherwise stated, the order will be dispatched without undue delay after payment has been received and the preparation or production of the goods has been completed.
Delivery times may vary depending on the type of product, the selected shipping method, the country of delivery, production workload, material availability or the carrier’s operating conditions.
The customer will be notified by email in the event of a significant delay.
4. Packaging of Photographic and Fine Art Prints
Photographic and fine art prints are sensitive to touch, pressure, bending, scratching, moisture, dirt and fingerprints.
The goods are therefore packaged to protect them from damage during normal transport.
Depending on the type and format of the product ordered, the print may be supplied:
- in a protective tube;
- wrapped in protective paper;
- in rigid shipping packaging;
- with additional protective or cushioning materials.
The protective tube, protective paper and any other protective packaging materials supplied with the goods form part of the delivered shipment and are intended to protect the photographic or fine art print during transport.
Unless expressly stated otherwise on the product page, photographic and fine art prints are supplied unframed.
5. Receipt of the Shipment
The customer is responsible for providing correct and complete delivery details.
Upon receipt of the shipment, we recommend checking the condition of the outer packaging, particularly whether the packaging, protective tube or shipping box is visibly damaged.
If the shipment is visibly damaged upon delivery, we recommend documenting the damage immediately, asking the carrier to prepare a damage report where possible, and contacting the seller by email.
Please retain the damaged packaging, protective tube, shipping label and cushioning materials until the claim has been resolved.
This does not affect the customer’s statutory rights in respect of defective or non-conforming goods or the right to make a claim.
6. Failure to Accept Delivery or Incorrect Address
The customer is responsible for ensuring that the delivery details provided in the order are correct.
If the shipment is returned to the seller because of an incorrect address, failure to accept delivery, failure to provide the cooperation necessary for delivery or failure to collect the shipment within the applicable collection period, the customer will be contacted by email.
The shipment may be sent again by agreement with the customer.
The seller may require the customer to reimburse the actual costs of reshipping the order where those costs were incurred for reasons attributable to the customer.
This does not affect any rights available to the customer under applicable law.
7. Shipping Outside the European Union
Orders may also be delivered outside the European Union where this option is available during checkout or has been agreed individually with the seller.
Shipments delivered outside the European Union may be subject to import charges, customs duties, taxes, carrier fees, customs clearance charges or other costs associated with importing the goods into the country of delivery.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, these costs are payable by the customer.
The seller is not responsible for the amount of any customs duties, import taxes or customs clearance charges, or for the procedures applied by customs authorities in the country of delivery.
Customers are advised to check any applicable import requirements and charges in their country before placing an order.
If the customer refuses to accept a shipment because of customs duties, import taxes, customs clearance charges or other costs imposed in the country of delivery, any refund may be reduced by the actual costs incurred by the seller in connection with the original shipment, return transport, storage or customs clearance, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
